Hi friends!
Yesterday marked 23 years since I first joined Stampin’ Up! — and wow, what a journey it’s been! I’m feeling all the feels and thought it would be fun to take a walk down memory lane…
I recently stumbled upon some of my original Stampin’ Up! Inspiration Sheets from years ago — and yes, I’ve kept them all this time! The sheet I’m using for today’s cards is from 2006, and I’ve included a photo of it so you can have a copy of it:
For this week’s video, I decided to recreate this card, using a classic technique called Split Negative:

Using just this one simple layout, I made eight quick and beautiful cards featuring the Framed Scenes and Sketched Butterflies stamp sets:

🦋 A perfect layout for thank yous, birthdays, and everyday joy
🎨 Lovely layering and colour combos
💡 Quick, beginner-friendly stamping inspiration
To add a twist to the original card design, I pulled in the “Linked Together” masks to create the background on a couple of the cards – I LOVE how they turned out.

It’s so much fun to play and let inspiration flow! Here’s my video demonstrating how I made these cards:

This is the first of FOUR videos, where I’ll be reviving cards from those original Inspiration Sheets — so keep your eyes peeled!
Thanks for celebrating 23 years of friendship and creativity with me — it means more than you know.
Big hugs & HAPPY STAMPING!
