Two Techniques: Glitter Grid and Recycled Plastic Dragonfly!

March 27, 2017 4 Comments

Hi Friends! Happy Monday; I hope you had a good weekend! Today’s techniques are inspired by a card I started working on this Friday. I shared it on my facebook (The Serene Stamper) and it was really well received, so I decided I would make a video and blog post to share.

The idea for the grid portion of the technique is from a video I made back in 2015, which you can see here: Stained Glass Technique. I kicked it up a notch with a whole lotta Dazzling Diamonds glitter!  I also used the “Inside the Lines” Designer Series Paper, which is a Sale-a-bration item available until March 31/17 (or while supplies last).

I honestly hadn’t played with this DSP a whole lot, but now that I’ve made these cards, I’m really having fun with it!

The dragonfly is made from a soda pop bottle!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…

    Hi,
Really lovely, love the colouring. How did you stick the glitter all over it?
