“Sweets & Treats” Card Tutorial

Crafting is even sweeter when you use the Sweets & Treats Stamp Set!

The open line-art images are perfect for colouring—use your favourite colouring tools and colours to customize your sweets. Finish off your projects with thoughts for birthdays, thanks, Christmas, and love. Stamp directly on gift boxes to create delicious packaging for goodies. Or use on tags and cards as a tasty finish on a gift.

  • 12 photopolymer stamps
  • Suggested clear blocks (sold separately): a, b, c, d
  • Coordinates with the Cloche Dies & Cloche Shaker Domes!

Here’s an adorable card tutorial for you, using the “Sweets & Treats” stamp set:

“Bring on Christmas!” with Sweets & Treats

Measurements:

  • Basic White Thick CS: 4-1/4” x11”; scored at 5-1/2”
  • Sweet Stockings DSP: 1” x 4-1/4”
  • Basic White CS: ¾” x 4-1/4”; 3-1/2” x 3-1/2”; 1” x 3”
  • Cherry Cobbler CS: 3” x 4-1/4”

Instructions:

  1. Emboss Cherry Cobbler CS with the Dotty Hearts Embossing Folder. Adhere to card base.
  2. Die cut Basic White CS with the scallop edge die using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
  3. Adhere Basic White scallop die cut behind Sweet Stockings DSP then to card front.
  4. Stamp ‘cake’ image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” piece Basic White CS. Use Daffodil, Shaded Spruce, Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler Blends to color image. Die-cut with largest Laying Circle die and adhere to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  5. Stamp ‘cake stand’ and ‘heart’ using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on remaining scrap of Basic White CS. Color with Smoky Slate and Cherry Cobbler Blends. Use a scissor to fussy cut and adhere to Layered Circle as shown.
  6. Embellish ‘holly’ with Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels and attach a Real Red 3/8” ribbon with a glue dot.
  7. Use Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp sentiment of choice in the lower left corner.
