Hi Friends! I hope you had a nice “Labor Day” long weekend (for those of us in North America). We spent the weekend doing lots around the house and I’ve been pickling like a madwoman. If you are a regular reader of my blog posts, then you’ll know that I’ve been busy making my salsa, tomato sauce, etc. On Saturday I got all my relish made and I doubt I’ll have to make any more for a couple of years!

I’ve still got lots of tomatoes, cucumbers, and zucchinis to deal with yet. We’ve got beautiful sunshine in the forecast for today and tomorrow and then rain straight through for the next couple of weeks. Suffice to say, I’ll be taking advantage of the nice weather to pick my beets and corn and pretty much the last of the vegetables.

The card I’m sharing with you today is a sympathy card I made for a dear friend whose husband, of 52 years, passed away. I can’t even begin to imagine how hard that would be. There is a LOT of LOVE going with this card when I mail it out today.
I chose the new “Strong of Heart” stamp set to use on my friend’s card…

When you purchase the “Strong of Heart” stamp set, Stampin’ Up! will donate $4 to support heart health! What a great way to make a difference!
I also used the “Positive Thoughts” stamp set on my card because I really liked how the “Hugs, Prayers and Love” sentiment fit inside the “Strong of Heart” image – and the words were perfect. The butterfly from this set finished off the card nicely.

The inside sentiment is from a Paper Pumpkin set, but for the life of me, I can’t recall the name of it. I do know that I use this particular stamp a LOT on my sympathy cards…..

Enjoy the day & HAPPY STAMPING!
