Hi Friends! I am so HAPPY that Stampin’ Up! has brought back Pastel Chalks to our product line! Years ago we sold “Stampin’ Pastels” and when they retired I was super sad – I LOVED using these chalks! When Stampin’ Up! released our new 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue last month, I immediately purchased our new “Soft Assortments Pastels” and couldn’t wait to play with them!
Eight chalk pastels in Stampin’ Up! colours: Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Poppy Parade

Today I am going to show you some basic ways that you can combine pastel chalks with stamping; using our Blender Pens, Sponge Daubers, Q-Tips and with our Versamark Ink Pad (for the Poppin’ Pastels technique).
There are MANY others ways we can use pastel chalks and I’ll be sharing those with you soon with a couple more video demonstrations (including my ALL-TIME VERY FAVOURITE TECHNIQUE!).
Our Soft Assortment Pastels are ideal for those who are new to stamping because they’re quick and easy to use with limited supplies and they’re also great for ALL stampers because of their versatility and different techniques.
Here is part one of my Soft Pastels Assortment series, featuring three basic techniques:

I hope you enjoyed today’s cards and demonstration! Part two of my pastel chalks techniques will be coming soon!
If you would like to order our Soft Assortment Pastels – or any other Stampin’ Up! products, just click HERE or pop me a message at serenestamper@gmail.com and I’ll be happy to help you!
Enjoy the day, stay well and HAPPY STAMPING!
