Scrapbooking with Saleabration!

I love scrapbooking.  I don’t do it enough and have been trying to make it a priority to get back into it on a regular basis.  Fortunately, one of my stamp clubs is with a group of terrific ladies who are awesome scrapbookers – they always inspire me with their beautiful pages.  This month I prepared a 12×12 2 page spread for this club, using a ton of stampin’ Up! product, including Sale-a-Bration items.  They LOVED it!
I used the new Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper for these pages.  I cased and tweaked the page layout from fellow demo, Sandra Mott.  There is so much inspiration out there – be it in books and magazines, or on the internet (especially pinterest!). I find that once you see an idea that you love and you begin to create, your projects end up taking on a life of their own!
Supplies Used:
Table built using Stampin’ Up! Product Table Builder from The Crafty Owl.

I was so pleased with how the pages came out that I decided to make another set to give away as a gift.  I followed the same layout and just swapped the paper with Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper (best DSP ever!) and adjusted the colours to match:

It’s amazing how changing the colours, but using the same layout, can look so different!

Scrapbooking is all about sharing special moments with others through
photographs, journalling, and artistic expressions.
I love that Stampin’ Up! provides us with a wonderful array of coordinating products that makes scrapbooking easy and fun!  Whether you’re a traditional scrapbooker or a digital designer with MDS,
or if you’re new to scrapbooking all together, I encourage you to take some time to create a page or two.

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
