Hi Friends! I’ve been away for a few days and just got home from touring the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton. Wow – talk about spectacular scenery! The weather was perfect and I was in awe of what a beautiful province Nova Scotia is. Here are some photos I thought I’d share with you:

This was the view in front of the Log Cabin where we stayed. Breathtaking. And it was so nice to go to sleep to the sound of the waves! |
We also stopped in at the Fortress of Louisbourg. The Fortress of Louisbourg is a National Historic Site of Canada
and the location of a one-quarter partial reconstruction of an
18th-century French fortress at Louisbourg on Cape Breton Island, Nova
Scotia. It was pretty amazing. Lots of history there.

So let’s get to some stamping! Today’s card is one I made for the sister of a friend who recently lost her dog in a tragic accident (killed by another dog). I was so heartbroken for this family, as I know how much my fur-babies mean to me. So I thought I’d pop a card in the mail for them and this is what I came up with:

Supplies Used:
Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper #144621 (available Sept 1st)
