Painted Petals Card Holder - Tina Zinck, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

Here is a project I made a while back that I just love and thought I’d share, especially as there are only a few days left for you to order the Painted Petals stamp set before it retires. I adore this stamp set, with it’s simplicity and femininity. I also used the “Feel Goods” and “Potpourri Papillon” stamp sets.

To make the card holder I folded a 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheet of So Saffron card stock in half, along the 11″ side. Then I measured 2″ from the bottom, creased it with my Simply Scored tool, and folded it up, securing it with Sticky Strip. Next, I wrapped ribbon around the front of the holder (again using sticky strip to adhere it) leaving the tails to tie it closed.

After that I just stamped the cover & cards (I stamped a whole sheet of Whisper White card stock using Painted Petals and then cut my pieces before layering) and the flaps of the envelopes. I had some card stock leftover so I made a matching bookmark too. I created four cards in total, which fit nicely into one of the ‘pockets’ and the envelopes and bookmark in the other.
