I am still soooo excited about my blog’s new look! It’s exactly what I had envisioned and the amazing Michelle Laycock sure made it happen! Just looking at this blog and seeing all the details that went into it just makes me happy. I hope it does for YOU too! Coffee poured and ready to work, I wandered into my hobby room this morning to find it in a bit of messy state:

Yesterday I made my brother a birthday card (my younger brother turns 40 on the 7th! holey moley). For some reason I seem to leave the cards that have to be mailed until the very last minute and then I do a mad scramble to get them made and off to the post office. Randy lives back in my home town of Comox, BC – and the mail from New Brunswick to British Columbia is a tad slow (our letters get to my Mother in Law in England faster than they do to Vancouver Island!). So needless to say, everything was left out on the table, along with the remnants of other cards I’d been making recently. I decided that before I filed my scraps away, I’d see if I could make a card using just what was in front of me. I had some flowers left over from last month’s clubs and card classes, along with some of the new Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper. This is what I came up with:
