“Nothing’s Better Than Cookies” Card Tutorial

Hi Friends! HAPPY FRIDAY! The card tutorial I’m sharing with you today uses the super ADORABLE “Nothings Better Than” bundle. I adore the vintage look and script of the stamp images. This bundle will be ideal for so many different craft projects (think recipe scrapbook pages!).



I hope you enjoy today’s project!

Measurements:

  • Just
    Jade: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” card base, score at 4-1/4”; 4” x
    5-1/4”

  • In-Color
    DSP: 4” x 1-1/2”

  • Whisper
    White: 2-1/2” x 3-1/2” for die-cut; scraps for cookies die-cuts

  • Mint
    Macaron: 1-3/4” x 5/8” and 1-3/4” x 3/8” for sentiments

  • Early
    Espresso: scrap for die-cut word

Instructions:

  1. Emboss
    background with Subtle Embossing Folder. Mount onto card. Adhere DSP
    on the card front.

  2. Die-cut
    a Hippo & Friends label.

  3. Die-cut
    the Love You More Than “cookies” die-cut from Early Espresso
    cardstock; adhere to label.

  4. Stamp
    the Nothing’s Better Than “cookies” word three times in Crumb
    Cake onto label.

  5. Stamp
    sparkle stamp around the label in Just Jade ink, then pop up label
    with Dimensionals.

  6. Stamp
    cookie outline stamps 3x onto Whisper White in Early Espresso ink.

  7. Stamp
    cookie fill image in Crumb Cake or stamped-off Crumb Cake ink.
    Die-cut and adhere to card.

  8. Stamp
    sentiments in Early Espresso onto Mint Macaron pieces and pop up
    with Dimensionals.

  • Paper – 2020-2022 In Color 6×6” Designer Series Paper (153070); Just Jade (153079); Mint Macaron (138337); Early Espresso (119686); Whisper White (100730)

  • Stamp Pads – Early Espresso (147114); Crumb Cake (147116); Just Jade (153115)

  • Misc. – Subtle Embossing Folder (151775); Love You More Than Dies (152698); Hippo & Friends Dies (153585); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110775), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); SEAL (152813)
