I’m sure all you Mother’s out there have developed your own techniques with baby wipes over the years.  Well I’m here to show you another one that doesn’t involve removing a diaper first!
All you need are some Classic Ink Refills, a couple of baby wipes and prepare yourself for some great fun.  This is one of my all time favourite techniques, and it’s beyond easy peasy.  Here’s what you do:
  • Fold a couple of baby wipes and place them on a plate (or any non-porous surface)
  • Take 1 to 3 different colours of Classic Ink Refills and squeeze dots of ink over the baby wipes; you are essentially creating your own ink pad! Just add enough ink to cover the size of the stamp(s) you’re using.
  • Stamp away! You have now created a multicoloured image in seconds and isn’t it BEAUTIFUL???
  • Another option: fold the inked baby wipes and swipe over your glossy card stock for a super cool streaked effect (you can also take your paper to your baby wipes and just swipe it across).  Depending on the ink colours you use, you can even create sunsets/skies – or just a really cool background for your projects.

There are so many pretty cards using this technique – do a google image search (type in Stampin’ Up! Baby Wipe Technique) and you will be amazed – and inspired – with all the ideas out there!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
