Hi Friends! Today’s card is one I made for a dear friend of mine who’s celebrating a birthday next week. I chose to use “Lovely Wishes” and “Butterfly Basics” stamp sets for her card. I truly ‘played’ with the card – just going with the flow, without any idea how it would end up. I’m actually quite pleased with the end result and I sure enjoyed the creative process!
I used my markers to ink the stamps, spritzing with water, before
stamping on the Whisper White card stock. I also used my aqua painter
to add more colour to the flowers. “Timeless Textures” was used to
add some random ‘splatters’. Then I ran the stamped layer through my Big Shot
with the Hexagon 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Crumb
Cake was lightly sponged on the edges as well as on the front.

Hi Tina, I love this card and want to try to duplicate it. It looks like you may have used a background stamp before stamping the flowers and leaves. I see you said you used Timeless Textures, but did you do that before or after stamping the flowers? I LOVE your work! Inspiring.
Hello Ceresa! I used the 'honeycomb' stamp from Butterfly Basics in the background, as well as the 'splatter' image from timeless textures and I added this after I stamped the flowers and leaves.
