Lovely Floral Card Tutorial

Hi Friends! My cousin’s daughter has just gotten engaged (in Hawaii!) to her longtime sweetheart, so I wanted to make them a special card. I used some of the items in the “Share What You Love” Gotta Have it All Bundle, as well as some other products (including the retiring Heart and Happiness stamp set and Sweet & Sassy Framelits!). I hope they like their card and I hope you enjoy today’s card tutorial!

• Crumb
  Cake (base): 5 ½” x 8 ½”, folded in half
• Crumb
  Cake (layer): 4” x 5 ¼”
• Very
  Vanilla: scraps for heart, banner and flower
• Always
  Artichoke: 4 ¼” x 3 ¼” for leaves diecut
• Vellum:
  4” x 1”

1. Lightly
   mist 4” x 5 ¼” Crumb Cake card stock layer with water and place
   inside the Lovely Floral embossing folder – run through the Big
   Shot. Set aside (or set with heat tool) to dry. Once layer is dry,
   stamp ‘Congratulations’ image from Petal Palette stamp set on the
   top with Versamark. Cover with Clear Embossing Powder, shake off
   excess and set with heat too. Fill in the flowers and leaves with
   the Clear Wink of Stella. Adhere layer to card base with Stampin’
   Dimesionals.
2. Squeeze
   a couple of drops of Liquid Glue onto Silicone Mat and light tap
   edge of sponge into the glue. Dab glue with the sponge onto the 4”
   x 1” piece of vellum card stock and adhere to bottom section on
   card.
3. Add
   ribbon, folded over, onto the vellum.
4. Ink
   heart image from Heart Happiness stamp set with Crumb Cake and run
   through the Big Shot with coordinating die from Sweet & Sassy
   Framelits.
5. Stamp
   leaf image from “Love What You Do” stamp set with Always
   Artichoke ink inside the heart.
6. Run
   Always Artichoke card stock through the Big Shot with leaf die from
   Petals & More Thinlits Dies (Petal Palette Bundle). Trim into
   pieces.
7. Place
   Stampin’ Dimensionals behind the heart and position the Always
   Artichoke leaves behind it, letting the dimensionals hold them in
   place. Add to front of card on bottom right.
8. Ink
   flower image from Heart & Happiness stamp set with Real Red and
   Always Artichoke markers, using Blender Pen to pull in the colours,
   Cut out with paper snips and add to front of heart with Stampin’
   Dimensional. Place a rhinestone in the centre of flower.
9. Stamp
   sentiment/names onto scrap piece of Very Vanilla card stock with the
   “Make a Difference” stamp set and Crumb Cake ink. Trim into a
   banner and position over the heart with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
