Hi Friends. I hope you’ve been having a good week so far. I’ve been busy working but also taking time to walk my hounds and enjoy the sunshine we’ve been having. Temps rose to plus 11 the other day and the snow is melting furiously – thank goodness. Still dropping down to cold evenings though – it’s -2 now. But I am just crossing my fingers the snow storms are done with for this winter. Fortunately we didn’t get walloped with as much snow as other parts of Nova Scotia. I am itching to start planting my veggie garden, cutting the lawn and tending to the flower beds. I suspect it will be a couple more months before any of those thing happen though. At least I can start planning now!
Today I decided to play with some leftover card pieces I had lying around. I love taking a certain layout and just by changing up the stamp sets and patterns and coming up with so many different cards! For this card I used the “Lift Me Up” stamp set with the “Carried Away” Designer Series Paper and added a little banner from the “Any Occasion” sale-a-bration set.
I haven’t used the “Any Occasion” stamp set a whole lot but it’s starting to grow on me! I really had fun with the little banner stamp and cutting it out was easier than you might think.
I definitely plan on using the “Any Occasion” stamp set more often and there’s still one month left YOU can earn it for FREE with a qualifying order.
