“Let it Ride” Fun Fold Card – VIDEO

January 25, 2019 Leave a Comment

Hi Friends! It’s Friday – YAY! What are your plans for the weekend? This past week I painted the floor in my craft room, so tomorrow I plan on getting everything back. On Sunday I’ll have a house full of wonderful friends coming over for my Winter Stamp Camp (which was rescheduled from last weekend, due to the ‘snowstorm’). It’s going to be a busy but fun couple of days.

If you are looking at spending some time stamping and making cards this weekend – I’ve got a fun card fold you may want to try. I know this fold has been around for years – I have no idea what it’s ‘called’ – but it’s easy peasy and makes for a nice change. The stamp set I used for my card is the new “Let it Ride” stamp set (from the 2019 Occasions catalogue) and it’s fabulous!

The other new product I used on today’s card is the scallop edge die from the “Be Mine Stitched” Framelits.

I almost didn’t get these dies. Whew – thank goodness I DID! I’ve been missing our scallop border punch (retired a few YEARS ago) and I’m so happy we’ve got a similar die now – and it has the stitched border too! AWESOME! I also love all the hearts (as you can see from yesterday’s card) and extra dies in this set are incredible too; they’re going to be well used for years to come, that’s for sure. I can’t wait to start crafting for Valentine’s…but until then, here’s my video for my “Let it Ride” card…enjoy!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
