Humming Along Thank You Card

Hi Friends! I hope you had a great weekend! I held my Winter Stamp Camp yesterday and it was a huge success. I say that because I had a house full of wonderful women who spent the day with me, stamping, laughing, eating and enjoying each other’s company.  We made ten cards that I’ll be sharing with you over the next few days, as well as photos from the event. In the meantime, here’s a  pretty thank you card tutorial that features the beautiful “Humming Along” stamp set:

• Stamp Sets – Humming Along (148758)
• Card Stock – Whisper White (100730); Mango Melody (146989); Basic Black (121045)
• Stamp Pads – Tuxedo Black Memento (132708)
• Misc. – Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack (144598); Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack (144597); Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack (147945); Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack (144599); Pool Party LIGHT Stampin’ Blend Marker (144595); Post-It Note

• Mango Melody: 8 ½” x 5 ½ ”
• Basic Black : 5 ⅛” x 3 ⅞”
• Whisper White: 4 ⅞” x 3 ⅝”

1. Stamp flower in lower right corner of white cardstock with black ink AND on a Post-it note (with part of the flower over the sticky end), Cut out flower on post-it note.
2. Mask flower on white card by laying the post-it flower over the top. Stamp “Thank You” randomly over the top of flower and off the edge of white paper. Remove post-it note mask to reveal clean flower.
3. Color flower with Stampin’ Blends: Light Mango for stamen, Cherry cobbler for center, blend in Pumpkin Pie toward edge and Mango on the outside of flower, with Old Olive leaves.
4. Outline around the outside of flower with Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend marker.
5. Layer white onto black layer, then onto Mango card base
