Hi Friends! I wanted to make a Valentine card for my sweetheart so I pulled out my Sweet & Sassy Framelits and Petal Palette bundle and this is what I came up with:

I really enjoyed making this card! I didn’t want it to be too feminine with the flowers so I added some ‘wood’ hearts and linen thread to (hopefully) add a bit of a masculine touch. I also refrained from adding any Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, even though I think all men secretly LOVE glitter (ahem). I used Be Merry Designer Series Paper for the background – as you can see, this paper isn’t just for Christmas cards! Before I glued the DSP layer to the front of the card I whipped around the edges with my sewing machine.
