Hi Everyone! Well, I have to tell ya, I am having a super time here at the Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference. It’s been so nice to see friends and meet new ones. One of the beautiful things about Stampin’ Up! is the friendships that come out of it – both with customers AND other demonstrators. Stampin’ Up! is like a sisterhood (there’s some great men demos too!). It’s impossible to attend a SU event and NOT make friends. Janice, Jill and Marti (whom I met on the airport shuttle) stamped with Marcea (who I met at Convention this past summer) at our Make and Take sessions yesterday. They are super sweet.
Last night Janice, Marti and I went to the Managers Reception together. It was fabulous. The Chinese Acrobats of Hebei put on a fantastic show and the reception prior to the entertainment, with all the oriental hors d’oeuvrs that were delicious!
As we left the we were given a brand new stamp set that corrdinates with the fabric pattern on our earlier gifts!
Today the General Session begins at 8:30 – I can’t wait. This is where Shelli fills us in on company annoucements and surprizes. Then there will be a main stage presentation and after lunch my afternoon is packed, and I mean PACKED, of classes. I’ll be finished about 6pm tonight. I can’t wait to share everything with y’all when I get back home! I already learned the coolest trick with the Scallop Border Punch! Sometimes it’s the ‘little things’ that can pack a big ‘WOW!”.
