Hi Everyone! I hope your Easter is lovely! We’re having a relaxing day at home, enjoying the sunshine and having a coffee on our veranda. As our families live afar, we decided to just have a nice turkey dinner for the two of us – with lots of leftovers for great meals later in the week. For Easter dessert we chose to have Lime Meringue Pie, for a change from lemon. One of my Easter traditions is the making of Hot Cross Buns (I use Jean Pare’s “Company’s Coming” recipe, with a few tweaks of my own). I made two batches last night and plan on making some more today to give away to some of our neighbors and friends. And let’s not forget about CHOCOLATE!
The Easter Bunny didn’t want to leave my husband’s chocolates in a plain ole’ bag, so said Bunny made a cute little basket for them:
