Founders Circle Retreat Day One

September 19, 2013 1 Comment

Hi Friends! I arrived in St. George, Utah yesterday for my first ever Founder’s Circle Retreat with Stampin’ Up! and it has already been absolutely AMAZING!  I’ve already been spoiled to bits with lovely gifts, wonderful food, fabulous hotel room, pampering and fun.  And the very BEST thing so far has been the friendships that I’ve already made.  The top 100 demonstrators in the US and the top 20 in Canada are all here and let me tell ya, the ladies here are all awesome!  I’m feeling very blessed and privileged to be a part of this group.  And Stampin’ Up! continues to amaze and delight me too!

A super cute welcome at The Courtyard by Marriott

YAY! I’m here! Let the good times roll!

My hotel room is huge with a comfy bed and the best pillow EVAH!

My welcome kit included my name tag, a Founder’s Circle Yearbook with all the attendees and our contact information, and a treat bag. I also won some fun product at our horseshoe toss!

One of my new friends, Nancy Lewis, and I finish making our swaps.

Look at our beautiful dinner table!  WOW!

A beautiful jar of homemade peach jam was my dinner gift.  Mmmmm!

At Founder’s Circle we are put into teams – we’ll enjoy our dinners together every night, etc – and our team is called the “Red Vines”.  I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know these wonderful gals over dinner!  From back: Angie Juda, Linda Heller, Karina Chin, Catherine Pooler,. Front: Mary Polcin, Nathalie Travis and myself.

Pillow gifts!!!

Look at that sweet tag!  And the burlap bag had all kinds of fun goodies that had me squealing with delight!  I can’t show you the stamp set and products I received because they haven’t been released yet, but hopefully we’ll be using them for our make and takes today so that I can show you the projects. The stamp set is sooooo nice and it even has a stamp with one of my most used expressions. “You make me HAPPY!”

17 of us had never been to Founder’s Circle Retreat before and we all attended a fun meet and great together.  Bonnie Thurber, Sara Douglass and Pam Morgan had us laughing with funny games and then we each shared our best business tip(s) from the past year that we felt helped us achieve our invitation to Founder’s Circle.

So I’m already enjoying Day 2.  I’ve made the most incredible new
friends and we met for breakfast – which was delish – and now we’re
enjoying each other’s company.  So much so, that we’re still sitting at the
table 2 hours later! LOL  I am learning SO MANY fun new ideas for my
business and my head is spinning with all the new class ideas I’ll be
starting.  These gals inspire me so much and I’m just overwhelmed – but
in a good way!

I’ll be back later today with more Founder’s Circle news and photos. Suffice to say, I’m having a BLAST!

HAPPY STAMPING!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
