Sometimes you just wake up and think: “Summer!”  I know it’s not officially summer until next week, but it’s sure starting to feel that way.  I was up bright and early and in time to see the gorgeous sunrise – it was awesome.  So for a change of pace, I decided a skirt was in order for today’s wardrobe – with sandals – and that it was high time I made some popsicles.  I LOVE homemade popsicles.  My usual go-to recipe is from a little booklet from Kraft that I’ve had for years and it’s super yummy. Click HERE for the recipe.  I’ve also been seeing a ton of delicious looking popsicles and frozen treats on pinterest (y’all know ‘pinterest’, right? Also known as “Time-sucker-gotta make that-love that-must try-just my style-what a great idea-oh
my Lord I’ve been on here for HOW LONG?” website.)  Anywho, I digress.  Since it’s (almost) summer and since I want to make 1001 popsicles, I think I need to get some fancy-schmancy molds like these:  ONYX   Then again, since I want to add fruit to my pops, I probably should go with this: Popsicle Molds.  I absolutely HAVE TO make these fruit popsicles.
Don’t they look amazing?  Mmmmmm.

And did you know that you can make CARDS to look like popsicles?  Yessirreee.

 Cute hey?
You could use these for invitations, you could emboss them with our scented embossing powders, etc.  FUN! If you want the directions on how to make these popsicle cards, just contact me and I’ll email them to you.

So – I went on a bit of tangent.  Today’s project actually has nothing to do with popsicles – but chocolate instead! This is my new favorite way to package chocolate bars or Stampin’ Up! gift certificates.  Quick and easy and so versatile – you can decorate these for specific holidays, special occasions, seasons, whatever you want. These are really fun to make!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
