Today I’m bringing back an “Oldie but a Goodie” from my vault: Envelope Gift Card Holders! I first shared how to make these on my blog back in 2014 – that’s a long time ago, and I’m STILL making these little holders all these years later!
To see my original blog post click HERE and to see the video check it out on my YouTube channel HERE. I’ve stepped the gift card (or treat) holders up a bit, using our Designer Series Papers and I must say, these are a FABULOUS way to use up any of your scraps and bits and pieces!
You can use any size envelope (I use our regular and mini envelopes) and of course, you can create these holders for ANY occasion! Tuck in a gift card or certificate, candy, tea, jewelry, etc and give it to someone special!

If you’ve not seen these Envelope Gift Card & Treat Holders before, you’ll be amazed at how quick and easy they are to put together!

Have a GREAT weekend & HAPPY STAMPING!

Hello I love your idea. I have one tip for closing the enveloppe (candy side) use your tombow glue let it dry and it become repositioning so they don’t distroye the beautiful card and they can reuse it. I use that also on my handmade enveloppe
GREAT idea!!! Thanks for sharing, Jeanne!!!
I have made these for years as thank you notes for waitresses (and waiters). A folded bill or several will fit in nicely. They are always well received.
I LOVE your idea of putting a thank you note & folded bill in these (for a tip)! Brilliant! I’ve usually got mine already filled and sealed with a treat but I’m going to keep some open to use like you do. THANKS for sharing!
Oldie but goodie tutorials are theee best; thank you for bringing this one out of the vault; for those that haven’t made these it’s an awesome gift certificate. Everyone needs to try this once.
Thanks for your comment and kind words, my friend!
Hi Tina,
