Dove of Hope – It’s Not Just for Christmas!

August 31, 2020 2 Comments

Hi Friends! I hope you had a good weekend. Mine sure went by FAST! Thursday through to Saturday was Stampin’ Up! Leadership Summit, which was FABULOUS. We received TONS of training and my head is swimming with so many ideas and I’m super excited to apply them to my business. The summit, originally planned to be held in New Orleans, was all via a virtual platform and it far exceeded my expectations. Stampin’ Up! is such an incredible company and I’m so proud to be a part of it.

Yesterday I finished pickling my beets. I got 16 jars done and I still have a massive bowl left (plus some beets are still in my garden). I’m going to make beet relish next. I’ve posted the recipe for you on my recipe page, in case you want to try it. The recipe was my great-grandmas – it’s absolutely DELICIOUS especially with a roast dinner.

The card I’m sharing with you today is a design I created for cards for my team earlier this month.

I wanted to use the Dove of Hope bundle in a non-Christmas way.

I combined the Dove die cut with the pretty Ornate Garden Designer Series paper and I was quite happy with the end result!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…

Love all your cards, but now I'm interested in your recipes too – where can I find them, please and thank you. <3
