DIY Junk Journal from Greeting Cards + LOTS of Fun Techniques!

April 18, 2024 5 Comments

Friends, I’ve got a fabulous project to share with you today! I’m going to show you how EASY it is to recycle cards and turn them into booklets – or journals (your choice). This can be as simple or as elaborate as you want, but one thing is for sure, these books are super addictive to make. You can turn any greeting card into a journal and use up your craft stash and supplies that you already have!

Would you believe the background I used on this card/journal was made with the leftover papertowel from my watercolouring? You can check out my video tutorial HERE if you missed it. I think you can recycle most anything – especially if you’re even a little bit creative. And let’s not forget about the craft stashes that I know we ALL have! Bins of leftover papers, bowls of buttons and pretty embellishments, baskets of ribbons….am I right? It’s time to pull them out and use them and these sweet booklets are ideal for our pretty supplies! So grab some cards, gather your items and have fun!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
