Hi Friends! Just a quick blog post today to wish you all a Merry Christmas (albeit a day late)! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! Our Christmas has been busy but super nice. Christmas Eve day we had a house full of company, right into the evening. Yesterday we opened our gifts and then went to my honey’s mother’s house to visit while she opened her gifts. The rest of the day was spent relaxing at home, while the turkey roasted in the oven. I have started to make my gravy and stuffing a day ahead of our big meal – what a massive time saver that is! Here is the gravy recipe I use, courtesy Jamie Oliver, and it the BEST gravy ever. I’ve been making my gravy this way for years now. For the turkey dressing, I bake half in a casserole dish and save the other half to stuff the bird. I also have two instant pots (no words on how much I LOVE them) so I made mashed potatoes in one and the veggies in the other. Turkey dinner has never been so easy LOL And is there anything more delicious and comforting than a good roast turkey meal? After we enjoyed our Christmas dinner the evening was spent watching a couple of holiday movies. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer day! Today I’ve been taking it easy and making batches of fresh rolls for another family dinner tonight. Tomorrow I’ll be back on my work schedule and sharing more projects with you! Speaking of which, the Christmas card I’m sharing with you today is one I made for my Sweetheart. I used the Dashing Deer stamps and the Woodland Textured Embossing Folder. The technique is one I first demonstrated a couple a couple of years back and I’ve posted the video for you below.
Enjoy your Christmas holiday, friends. I hope your heart and home is filled with love, joy and peace during this special season.

I love the image you created by stamping the green trees directly onto the embossing folder that you had already inked up. Your card is so pretty and unique! Thanks, also, for the nice clear video demonstration of how to accomplish this technique!
