Hi Everyone! I can’t believe that tomorrow is the last day of the 2011-2012 Stampin’ Up! catalogue! I’m so sad to see some of the stamps and accessories leave us, but I am also stinkin’ excited about the new 2012-2013 Catalogue – which is beyond FABULOUS! But we’ll get to that later. Back to the current catalogue… If there are any items still on your wish list, or you have accessories retiring that you want to stock up on, I’ll be placing one more order, so let me know and I’ll be happy to add your items to it. “Happiness Shared” is one of the stamp sets that will be retired after tomorrow, it’s such a pretty set.

One of the reasons why I LOVE this stamp set is because while I know it’s a rose, I can also see it as a pink dogwood, which is my all time favourite tree. I need to find one of these trees here in New Brunswick – I’m not sure how well they’d grow here on the East Coast though. The pink dogwood I had was back home on Vancouver Island. I just loved it.

Here is today’s video where I demonstrate how to use the Stampin’ Pastels (chalks) with the blender pen for colouring the flower in “Happiness Shared”….

Here’s another card I made a couple of months ago, this time using the Water Colour Wonder Crayons:

Tomorrow I’ll have another video featuring the Inspired by Nature stamp set (yes, again…but I love it and it’s the last time I can demonstrate with it! LOL). I will also be using the Water Colour Wonder crayons (they are so much fun to use!).

June 1st the new catalogue goes live! I’m already starting to shake with anticipation (if you know me, then you’ll also know I’m not kidding…LOL) My own wish list is a big one, lemme tell ya. And there are so many new stamps, designer series paper, ribbons, embellishments (wait until you see the new Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons!) and other new products that I can’t wait to share with you!

OK – I’m off. I’ve got a whole bunch of Thank You cards to stamp in time for tomorrow’s mail and then tomorrow night is our “Serene Stampers” downline meeting and I’ve got to get ready for it (I’ll be demonstrating something super duper cool and a video will be out on Friday to show you!)
