Chevron Designer Paper

January 2, 2014 Leave a Comment

Hello Passport Pals
Frenchie is back and I would like to start by wishing you a Happy New Year to Y’All! Good health and blessing.
Now about today share it is using the Designer Series Paper Eastern Elegance #130131 to make a chevron boarder. It is a fun way to add a lovely boarder to a card. I did a video on how to and you can CLICK HERE to view. What you will need is the designer paper of your choice, 5 strip of 2-1/2 by 1″ and then folding the corner and assemble. Assemble is a little tricky but in the video I will show you how to 🙂 I would say don’t give up on your first try the second one is much easier. I did a class and all my ladies on their second cards said OH! this is easy but it’s not what they said on the fist one 🙂 so trust me the second one is much easier just like anything else. The stamp set that I use is Lots of Thanks wood #129687  clear #129690. Using the Silver Glimmer paper #124005 that is on sale this week  with the Bitty Butterfly #129406 YES Stampin’Up! will punch the Glimmer Paper many ask me that question and yes it work with the punches, Framelites and Dies. Time to stock up on the Glimmer Paper plus the Silver one is the perfect one to add color on it. You can use a sponge or re-inker with the Aqua Painter and add any color to your silver so no limits on the color 🙂

Make sure to visit my blog to see Tina share I’m sure it will be lovely as always CLICK HERE to view Tina share.

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
