Birthday Bag Tutorial

July 10, 2017 Leave a Comment

Hi Friends! I hope you had a nice weekend. It absolutely poured rain on Saturday but by Sunday it was hot and muggy again. This morning the temperature was 31′ before 9am! So had a load of laundry washed and on the line first thing (aren’t fresh sheets from the line just the best?). Yesterday I worked in the garden, weeding, until I was a hot sweaty mess, but it was so nice to get it done – I love gardening!

It’s been a few years since I had a big vegetable garden, so I’m a happy camper.
The wood pieces are just ‘garden art’ hahah
I’ve actually planted nasturtiums at the base of each stick and stuck some solar lights in the garden too. I can’t wait to see how it all changes as everything grows and gets bigger!
This year I planted carrots, beets, beans, peas, leeks, squash, radishes, zucchini, corn, swiss chard, spinach, tomatoes and cucumbers! There is also some rhubarb and black currants in my garden too.
The Swiss Chard is ready to be picked – mmmmm!

I’m hoping for a good crop so that I can make some pickled beets, beans and dills and salsa in the Fall. So far everything is growing great! We’re always a bit behind in the growing season, here on the East Coast, but our autumn season is usually hot and gorgeous, which makes up for the late Spring.

Today I have a super sweet project to share with you –

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
