“Artfully Layered” Card Tutorial

Measurements:

• Thick Very Vanilla- card base 8 ½” x 5 ½”
• Very Vanilla cardstock- layer 3” x 4”, sentiment 3 ¼” x 5/8”, leaf 4 ¼” x 2 ½”
• Pale Papaya cardstock- leaf 3 ¼” x 3 ½”
• Mossy Meadow cardstock- leaf 3 ¼” x 3 ½”
• Mint Macaron cardstock- trim 3” x ¼”, layer 4 ¼” x 3 ¼”
• Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper- 4 ¼” x 4 ¼”

Instructions:

1. Score the Thick Very Vanilla card base on the long side at 4 ¼” and fold.
2. Adhere the designer paper layer to the card front with Stampin’ SEAL.
3. Make a silhouette of vines on the Vary Vanilla cardstock (3” x 4”) layer. Use your Blending Brush, Mint Macaron ink, and the vine mask. I only made vines on the right side of the layer not the whole piece.
4. Attach the Very Vanilla layer to the Mint Macaron layer and add to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
5. Stamp a large leaf on Very Vanilla cardstock in Mossy Meadow ink and die cut using the Tropical Layers Dies. Die-cut 2 more leaves that look like palm fronds in Pale Papaya and Mossy Meadow. Add the leaves to the card front as shown using Mini Glue Dots.
6. Stamp the sentiment from Love & Happiness on a strip of Very Vanilla cardstock. Then die-cut a small edge trim piece in Mint Macaron from the Tropical Layers Dies then use liquid glue to attach to the back of the sentiment. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach to the card front.
7. Tie a small bow with Linen Thread and attach to the card using Mini Glue Dots. Lastly, add a few Polished Dots to finish your card.
