“Aloha au ia ‘oe” to all my customers and
awesome downline! It means “I love you” in Hawaiian and it’s because of
YOU that I earned the Grand Vacation to Oahu, Hawaii! If it weren’t for
the gals on my demonstrator team (aka “The Serene Stampers”) who worked so hard for their promotions, as well as
all my friends and customers who placed orders with me this past year, I
wouldn’t have earned this fabulous trip. “Mahalo” ~ “Thank You”, from
the bottom of my heart!
To celebrate I had to make a thank you card to share with you! I used the new Flower Patch Stamp Set and coordinating framelets (my favourite bundle in the whole catalogue!) and the Post Card and By the Tide stamp sets. The only other time I’ve been to Hawaii was to the Big Island (I could move there tomorrow – it’s gorgeous) and I discovered the glorious Plumeria flowers!

If you have smelled these flowers and seen all the beautiful shades they come in then you know exactly what I’m talking about. I used the images from the Flower Patch stamp set in an attempt to create plumeria flowers on my card:

I had sooooo much fun making this card! A lot of love and gratitude went into it, as I thought of all the blessings Stampin’ Up! has brought into my life, which made the Grand Vacation to Hawaii a reality for me. I truly love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and being a part of such an incredible company. The fact that I was able to turn my stamping hobby into a full time career that earns me trips like this is pretty amazing.
When I bought the starter kit back in 2002 I just wanted the product discount, like most of us do. Not once did I consider all the opportunities that were available to me. Then I went to my first Stampin’ Up! Convention in 2010. That was a game changer for me. I saw all kinds of people walking across the stage to celebrate their achievements – I realized then and there that they were no different than me. If THEY could do it, I could too! I’ve reached many milestones and dreams come true since then and it’s been a fabulous journey! I look forward to introducing Stampin’ Up! to my new community here in Nova Scotia and another fun year of creating and inspiring others to do the same!
