Hi Friends! Last night I had a blast making the cutest card ever! I was inspired by a card I’d seen that was created by Angela Waters, a fellow Stampin’ Demonstrator in our Project Leaders group. Her card is ADORABLE:

Angela used the “Hey Birthday Chick” bundle, which you can see HERE. I also have the tutorial for this card for you too!
As I don’t yet have the “Hey Birthday Chick Bundle”, I just used the “Hey Chick” stamp set & dies for my first card:

Not near as cute as the birthday chick image that Angela used on her card, but cute nonetheless!

After I made this card, which also features a spin on the “Spotlight Technique”, my mind got spinning and it occurred to me that the images in the “Darling Donkeys” stamp set would be ideal for this card design!

These stamps are FREE with a qualifying order ($60 CDN) during our Sale-a-bration promotion which ends TOMORROW! So if you don’t have the Darling Donkeys stamp set yet you will need to HURRY and get it before it’s gone forever!

Card measurements:
- Old Olive Card Stock: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″
- Basic White Card Stock: 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Basic White Card Stock (or computer paper) for mask: 4″ x 5 1/4″ – mark 2″ along the top (4″ side) and draw a line down the centre. Then mark 3/4″ along the bottom on both left & right sides of the paper. Use a ruler to draw a line from the top centre mark (2″) down to each side, making a triangle. Cut and use the pieces for the spotlight masking. Note: you may need to adjust the bottom measurements, depending on the size of the stamp you choose to use.

As I was making this card I thought it needed a little somethin’-somethin’ and it hit me – add some lace trim along the curtain edges! I mean really…can a card get any CUTER?
