Hi Friends! I hosted a baby shower for a special family member last month and she has since had an adorable baby girl! I told her I would make thank you cards for her to give to all the guests, which she really appreciated. For the cards I chose the new “Sweet Little Something” stamp set – it’s amazing how realistic the bunny looks once it’s stamped:
I decided on using ink colours from the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Paper to stamp the bunny: Powder Pink, Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry.
I like the heart pattern on the DSP the best, but also made a couple of cards using some of the other Painted with Love patterns too.
The die cut banner is from the new “Petals and More” Thinlits Dies. I cut the Early Espresso banner in half, glued it behind the Powder Pink layer, and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Since I had the “Sweet Little Something” stamp set in motion, I thought I’d try stamping the images in browns: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Early Espresso. While the brown bunny is also cute, I think I prefer the pink tones for the baby girl cards. What do you think?

I love that I am able to have a job where my fur-babies can always be with me. My two dogs are always under the desk, and my two cats are either snoozing on a chair or in the scrap basket.
If I get up for a moment I lose my seat to these two rascals!
Yesterday Lewis decided to curl up on a shelf and watch me work from his new perch. I do my best to avoid getting cat fur on my cards and projects, but sometimes it’s a challenge. We’ll just pretend it’s a new ‘spin’ on Mixed Media! LOL

Lovely cards. I'm going to a stamping group (haven't been to one since my rep retired six years ago), and I'm ordering that awesome paper. I would have thought to pair it with the bunny, which I'd also like to own. I have the layered teddy bear and made my daughter's baby shower invitations with them.
