Hi Friends! I don’t always post on weekends, but thought I’d pop in and share a card tutorial with you. If you feel like playing this weekend, this card uses both our Embossing Paste and the Brusho Powders. 

Tomorrow I’ll begin my Top Ten countdown of my favourite retiring products.

REMARKABLE YOU CARD TUTORIAL
Supplies:
  • Stamp
    Sets

    –
    Remarkable
    You (139891)w; (139894) c
  • Card
    Stock
    –
    Basic Black (121045); Watercolour Paper (122959)
  • Stamp
    Pads

    – Archival Stampin’ Ink Basic Black (140931)
  • Misc.
    – Brusho Crystal Colour (144101); Aqua Painter (103954);
    Stampin’Spritzer (126185); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430);
    Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755); 12 “ of ¼ Natural Trim (gold)
    (141484); Embossing Paste (141979); Pattern Party Decorative Mask
    (144103); Palette knives (142808)
Measurements:
  • Basic
    Black: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”(score and fold at 4 ¼”);
  • Watercolour
    Paper: 4 x 5 ¼”; 2 ½ x 3 ½”, 2 x 3”

Instructions:
  1. Place
    Pattern Party Decorative Mask onto largest piece of Watercolour
    Paper. Sprinkle Brusho Crystal Colour lightly over the mask
    (Gamboge). Without moving the mask, swipe some Embossing Paste over
    it using a palette knife. Set aside to dry.
  2. Stamp
    flower image on 2 x 3” Watercolour Paper using Archival Basic
    Black ink. Colour image with Aqua painter and Brilliant Red Brusho
    colour Crystals.
  3. Stamp
    leaf image on 2 ½ x 3 ½” Watercolour Paper. Colour image with
    Aquapainter and Moss Green Brusho COlour Crystals.
  4. Using
    the Aqua Painter and Yellow Brusho Colour Crystal colour the Natural
    gold trim ribbon. Set aside to dry.
  5. Once
    all the pieces are dry use Multipurpose Liquid glue to adhere the
    layers as shown in the image. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add
    the flower onto the leaf image. The ribbon is attached with
    Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Note:
to watercolour using the Brusho Crystal colour – sprinkle the
powder onto a waterproof surface and add a drop of water to make a
‘paint’.
