Lift Me Up Card Tutorial

Hi Friends! Today’s card was created by Susan Reitmeyer Legits‎ for our Leader’s Projects group – I love it! On tomorrow’s blog post I’ll be sharing a new video for you with a super cool technique.   • Card
    Stock

    Merry Merlot (146979); Crushed Curry (147087); Shimmer White

  • Stamp
    Pads

    – Merry Merlot (147112); Bermuda Bay (147096); Pumpkin Pie
    (147086); Poppy Parade (147050); Pacific Point (147098); Crushed
    Curry (147087)
  • Misc.
    – 1 ¼” Circle Punch (138299); 1 3/8” Scallop Circle (146139);
    Up & Away Thinlits (142748); Mini Dimensionals (144108);
    Dimensionals (104430); Pearls (144219); Post-It note for masking
Measurements:
  • Merry
    Merlot: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”; scrap to die cut balloon and to punch
    scallop circle
  • Crushed
    Curry: 5 1/4” x 4” cut 2
  • Shimmer
    White: 3 ¾” x 5” cur 2

Instructions:
  1. Stamp
    and mask balloons and clouds as desired on the Shimmer White
    cardstock.
  2. Stamp
    and punch “Thank You” from the Detailed with Love stamp set.
  3. Punch
    scallop circle and die cut balloon from the scrap of Merry Merlot
  4. Using
    a Blender Pen color the clouds. (You don’t need any additional
    ink. Just move the color around with the Blender Pen)
  5. Glue
    all layers together with the adhesive of your choice.
  6. Adhere
    the die cut balloon with mini Dimensionals and the “Thank You”
    with Dimensionals.
