I thought I’d share a non-Christmas card with you today. This lovely ‘thanks’ card features the “Beauty Abounds” stamp set and the “Pressed Petals” Designer Series Paper.

Measurements:

Night
of Navy (4 ¼” x 11” scored at 5 ½” & 4” x 5 ¼”) -
Whisper
White (2 ½” x 3 ½”) -
So
Saffron Cardstock (2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″) -
Pressed
Petals Designer Series Paper (2” x 5 ½”)
Instructions:
-
Fold
a piece of Night of Navy Cardstock (4 1/4″ x 11″ or 5 1/2″
x 8 1/2″) in half to create card base. -
Glue
the Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper (2” x 5 ½”) to the
left hand side of the cardfront about 1/4″ from the edge. -
Glue
one of the Pearlized Doilies behind the right side of a piece of So
Saffron Cardstock (2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″) and adhere to the
front of the card at an angle with dimensionals. -
Stamp
the filigree image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a piece of Whisper
White Cardstock (2 ½” x 3 ½”). -
Color
with Stampin’ Blends (So Saffron Dark, Night of Navy Light and Old
Olive Light). -
Stamp
“thanks” in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the lower right-hand
corner of the Whisper White. -
Cut
out the butterfly in Blushing Bride Cardstock with the Butterfly Die
and adhere the butterfly to the upper left-hand corner of the
Whisper White Cardstock. -
Add
some Gold Metallic Pearls to the center of the butterfly. -
Adhere
a piece of Whisper White Cardstock (4” x 5 ¼”) inside and stamp
your greeting.
