Hi Friends! Have you heard of the “Rock and Roll” technique? I’m not referring to dance moves! It’s a simple stamping technique that beautifully combines light and dark ink colours. This technique is not new, it’s been around for years, yet surprisingly some of my stamping friends have never seen it. So, if that’s you, I’m happy to introduce you to the “Rock and Roll” technique today! It’s such a fun and easy way to add colour to your stamps! Note: playing Elvis Presley (or your personal favourite rock n’ roll music) in the background may help put you in the mood for this technique. Just sayin’.
For my card, I used the Rock and Roll technique combined with the “Fable Friends” and “Beautiful Friendship” stamp sets to create a cute little Easter card:

Supply List:
Last year I created a video demonstrating how to make a “Triple Time” card and I also used the “Rock and Roll Technique” on the cards:
The stamp sets I used were “Painted Seasons” and “Home to Roost”, both retired now, but these cards show the versatility of the Rock and Roll technique using different inks and stamps.
I LOVE these cards!
