Before jumping into the tutorial, I want to take a moment to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your love, support, and prayers during these past few weeks.
Our sweet dog Cooper recently underwent a major surgery to remove a ruptured disc, and it has been a challenging time for me and my husband. I shared more about this in the video, and I’ll admit, there were some tears shed during my intro. 💗It’s been a rollercoaster, but Cooper is now on the road to recovery, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the kindness and encouragement I’ve received from so many of you. You are all such a blessing to me!
Now, onto today’s project!
The By Your Side Kit is perfect for creating quick and easy cards, but I wanted to show you a fun twist: turning them into shaker cards using simple clear envelopes! This little technique adds a whole new layer of fun and creativity to your cards, and it’s so easy to do.
Be sure to check out the video below to see how I created these shaker cards and for more updates on Cooper’s progress! And I must say, it felt SO GOOD to stamp again and take some time to breathe, play, and relax for a bit. This kit is fantastic, especially for those of us with furbabies. I got a wee bit emotional during the intro (just a heads-up, lol), and be sure to watch through to the end of the video too!
