Hi Friends! I’m excited to share with you a project that’s not only dear to my heart but also brimming with fun and some mixed media too!
Not long ago I mentioned in one of videos that I hang on to the paper towels leftover from my watercoloring – these make amazing backgrounds for cards and all sorts of projects!
Yesterday I filmed the process of transforming a leftover inky paper towel into a stunning card, created with a whole lot of love and encouragement. This card is extra special as I made it for a sweet friend who has been bravely battling cancer.
Most of you know that I like to just go with the flow and ‘wing it’ when I make my cards and film the process. This card combined embossing folders, gilded leafing, stenciling (masks), heat embossing and more – all of which is right up my alley! I am also so glad that I bought the brand new stamp set from Stampin’ Up! called “Comforting Thoughts”. The heartfelt messages within this set made it the perfect choice for making a card to uplift and support my friend during this challenging time.
Crafting isn’t just about creating pretty things; it’s about infusing each creation with emotion and purpose.
This card isn’t just a piece of paper; it’s a token of hope, a reminder of strength, and whole lot of love.
I hope you enjoy today’s video:
