Hi Friends. Today I’m sharing a tutorial with you that was created by my lovely friend, Stella McKay. Her card is part of our Leaders Project Sheet Group and I absolutely LOVE it! The “At the Pond” stamp set that Stella used on her card is such a cute set and can be used for so many different occasions.
This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set; it allows you to layer two or more images to create one final image with extra texture and dimension in the colors you want.
This is a Distinktive stamp set; it has a special texture that gives added depth and dimension in a single step, creating photo-realistic images.

“AT THE POND”
Measurements:
- Soft Suede: 4-1/4” x 11” scored at 5-1/2” then burnished with the Bone Folder
- Pool Party: 4-1/4” 5-1/2”
- Basic White: 4-1/4” 5-1/2”, scrap about 2” x 2”
- Thread: 40”
Instructions:
- With Soft Suede ink, stamp cattails on card base. Mask areas with Masking Paper to not have the images overlap.
- Stamp frog body twice in Pear Pizzazz and outline with Garden Green. Stamp log twice with Soft Suede and outline with Early Espresso. Fussy-cut the four pieces. Attach frog to log with Glue. Set aside to dry.
- With Pool Party ink, stamp the water ripples onto the Pool Party cardstock. Die cut with second from largest die in Layered Diorama. Adhere to card base with Glue.
- With Polished Pink ink, stamp heart onto Basic White then with Early Espresso stamp Luv Ya. Die cut with Conversation Bubbles Die.
- Wrap Linen Thread around left fold then tie into knot and tie bow. Trim ends.
- With Stampin’ Dimensionals, attach frogs with logs and sentiment bubble.
