Hi Friends. Before I get to today’s project, I want to send out a huge shout-out of congratulations to VALERIE ZIMMERMAN, the winner of my 60K subscriber giveaway on my YouTube channel! Valerie lives in Missouri and I’m excited to mail off her special gift, which is a box full of goodies made here in Nova Scotia (chocolates, maple syrup, etc), as well as some exclusive Stampin’ Up! logo products & a few more surprises. Thank you to EVERYONE who left a comment under my video – I loved reading them all! I truly appreciated all the kind words too – you sure know how to make a girl feel loved.
Now, onto today’s special project!
This is a box that perfectly stores our hand stamped greeting cards and envelopes. It’s super easy and fun to make. Everyone who’s made one of these boxes at my stamp clubs and classes over the years as just LOVED them, especially as they make fabulous gifts too.
Unfortunately, I lost my one and only printout of the tutorial (which was also years old) and for the life of me, I can’t remember where I originally got it from. Good news: I took one of my existing boxes apart and created a new template and tutorial – whew! Thank goodness I still had one of these boxes lying around!
To decorate my boxes I used a fun “Mosaic Embossing Technique”. I really love resurrecting techniques from years gone by and using them with our current products!
The gorgeous paper that I used on my card boxes is called “Favored Flowers”, which is a 12″ x 12″ package of Designer Series Paper that you can earn for FREE during Sale-a-bration this month!
Product ListI’ve got a super cool card to show you tomorrow, using the “Mosaic Embossing Technique”. This card is part of our “Around the World on Wednesday” Blog Hop! Be sure to pop by to see all the different embossing techniques we’ll be sharing with you!
HAPPY STAMPING!
