Hi Friends! I’ve been making some cards for members of my “Serene Stampers” community and I thought I’d film the process for you. These cards are quick and simple, but I love how they turned out!
I’ve always loved making the paper flowers, as shown on these cards. Today I used the “Handmade Tag Punch” for the paper flowers, but in the past, I’ve also used circles, which look equally great! Simply mist with water, scrunch up and let dry. It couldn’t get any easier! These flowers ase based on a technique demonstrated YEARS AGO by the lovely Pam Morgan, who was part of the SU home team, but she has since retired. Isn’t funny how something so simple just works?!
In my video, I used “Rich Razzleberry” card stock on my card, but I used scrap pieces of yellow card stock for the centre of the flowers and Balmy Blue/On the Farm DSP:
The “Fish and Wish” punch is ideal for making paper leaves. I encourage you to look at your punches and see how you can use them in a different way too.
I hope you enjoy today’s video and that you will give this card layout and paper flowers a whirl!
