There’s a tongue twister for ya! I almost called my team appreciation event “Serene Stampers Sizzlin’ Summer Stampin’ Soiree” – but I thought I was perhaps getting a bit carried away LOL.
I love spoiling members of my Serene Stampers community and showing my gratitude and love for each and every one of them. For years we’ve always had a virtual Christmas party but I wanted to start a new tradition with a summer gathering too. So last night I held this special event via zoom and members of my Serene Stampers community and I spent two fun hours together!
A few weeks ago I mailed out party packets to everyone who registered for this event. In the packets, I included a bingo card, a handmade treat holder (which held gourmet tea), and lots of product samples from the new Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-bration brochure (samples of Designer Series Papers, ribbon, cardstock embossed with our new folders, etc) as well as a notecard and envelope. Everyone could create whatever they wanted with these items and share them during the show and tell a portion of our party last night. Well, lemme tell ya, everyone’s creations were FABULOUS and we all got tons of inspiration!

Aren’t all those cards just fantastic? And that’s not even half of them! We had over 20 ladies join in on last night’s zoom party and what fun we had, seeing everyone’s creations!
After our Show & Tell we played a few games of bingo, which is always a favourite. Throughout our Soiree event I gave away lots of gifts and prizes too – stamp sets, packages of stampin’ dimensionals, clear envelopes, rhinestones, and even bundles with stamps and coordinating dies!
I also surprised everyone at the end of our party by announcing they will ALL receive a special gift: a personalized ‘hand made by’ stamp that I had custom made for them too! Some of the stamps have a lighthouse design (for those who live here on the East Coast) and others have a maple leaf design:
In case you may be wondering, I order these stamps from Anna-Mae at Village Impressions and I’ve always been super impressed with her amazing customer service and quality of the products.
Since last night’s event, I’ve received many messages of thanks for the party, surprises and gifts, which truly warms my heart. Everyone also enjoyed getting to know each other, as quite a few had never used zoom before! Now they are looking forward to joining in on our monthly team gatherings, which I’m thrilled about.
Our next team party will be for Christmas – which is my personal favourite because we all create a Christmas project with supplies I send out (in the past we’ve made ornaments, Christmas planners, holiday decor and more); play games; share holiday traditions and favourite Christmas recipes!
I have demonstrators on my team who live all across Canada and we have all created wonderful friendships which one another! I love how the internet has brought us all together, enabling us to visit despite the current world situation. Some are discount stampers (demonstrators who simply want to save money and get a discount on their personal orders) and some demos on my team have taken advantage of the Stampin’ Up! opportunity and have either a part-time or full-time business. Either way – I am thankful and embrace my entire Serene Stampers community and they have all truly blessed my life.
