Hi Friends! Today I’m sharing the card that I made for my Mystery Stamping Hour this afternoon. The inspiration was from a card tutorial by my friend and fellow demo, Karen Duke (thanks to Karen H. for sharing it with me!). This is an easy fun fold using Designer Series Paper, which just happens to be on sale!
I chose to go with the “Lovely as a Peach” Designer Series Paper for today’s card…
I am really enjoying the “Sweet as a Peach Bundle! I knew that I would. I can’t wait to make some vintage, retro projects with the suite too. I also love the option of using the flower stamps and dies in this bundle, as well as the peaches. So much FUN!
To make the card base:
Cut Designer Series Paper to measure 5″ x 12″ and score at 4″ and 8″ – fold along the score lines. FYI: I trimmed a teeny, tiny smidgen along the right side edge, just to make it fold inside nicer.
Use the two largest circles from the Layering Circles Dies: place the smaller circle on the front panel and cut. Place the two circle dies, the smallest tucked inside the larger die, onto Pear Pizzazz card stock and cut. Do this twice to create two circle frames for your card, and glue one to the front and one to the reverse side of the front panel.
The inside sentiment is stamped onto Basic White card stock, measuring 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″.
Cut Basic White card stock with the smaller of the two circle dies and stamp with sentiment or any other images you wish – this will show on the front of your card. Close the front flap and place the stamped circle inside, securing to the inside flap with adhesive.
Decorate your card as desired!
Product ListHave a wonderful weekend and HAPPY INDEPENDANCE DAY on Sunday to my friends & family down South!
