Hi Friends! Today’s card is one I designed for a class that I have each Thursday afternoon at our local activity centre. The participants are adults with intellectual disabilities and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my time spent with this wonderful group:
My aunt, whom I love to bits and pieces, belongs to a similar group back home in British Columbia, so volunteering at our local activity centre is very near and dear to my heart. My aunt and I have a very special relationship and a bond that is very strong. She’s smart and sweet, quick as a whip with her sassiness and funnier than heck; she’s got a heart of gold and gives the tightest, biggest bear hugs EVER!
I could not imagine my life without my Aunt Mo – she means the world to me! |
Creating pretty and easy cards is really important to me, as I want to make sure the members of this group can make their cards without too much difficulty and ENJOY themselves at the same time. I think it’s safe to say, they’re having a ball!
