Hi Friends! Today’s card is one that I cased from the OnStage event in Salt Lake City this past November and it uses the new “Waterfront” stamp set. Being a nature lover, I fell in love with these stamps as soon as I first saw them! The images in this set are super versatile and the sentiments are ideal for so many different occasions (and I just love the fonts)!
My dad’s birthday is coming up soon and this is the perfect stamp set for his card. My Dad, who lives back home on Vancouver Island, works alongside a glacier-fed lake, surrounded by a majestic mountain range and ancient forest trees. Rough job, right? He loves it – how could you not. Last week Dad sent me photos he took of a small herd of Elk that were right beside the road:
I thoroughly enjoyed making my Dad’s birthday card with the “Waterfront” stamp set. If you don’t already have these stamps, you will want to get them. They’re so easy to work with – you’ll love them! The birds on this card are from the High Tide stamp set and the sentiment is from the “Yay You” host reward stamp set (I’ve been using this set a lot!).
I always stamp the envelopes for my cards too – do you as well? I think it adds a nice touch. Well, I couldn’t stop stamping with this set yesterday and got a wee bit carried away with the envelope for my dad’s card – somehow I managed to squeeze in his address and a postage stamp:
