Hi Friends! I just wanted to share a quick post with you today, in honour of Father’s Day! My Dad lives back home in British Columbia, so unfortunately I’m not able to spend the day with him. I did get his gift and card mailed and will skype with him tonight (thank goodness for skype!). I love my Dad to bits and pieces and I couldn’t have asked for a better Father – he’s the BEST! My Dad was quite young when I came into the world – he was only 20 years old. Dad always put us kids on top of his priority list (my brother came along less than two years later) and always tells us we were the best thing that ever happened to him. It always warms my heart to hear that. And my hubby is also a wonderful dad – his son lives back in England and we hope to get back there for a visit this Fall. The card I’m sharing with you today is one I made for my husband – he loves the “Walk in the Wild” stamp set with the moose, so it was just a given that I’d use that one to make his card:
It’s nice to get my stamps and inks out of the boxes and start playing with them again. My Stampin’ Studio is slowly but surely coming along. I’ve been taking photos as we renovate the room and I’ll be sharing them with you once we’re done. Still some painting to do and lots of unpacking but it’s going to be great once it’s all done. Also, this past weekend I attended the “East Coast Stampin’ Event” with 70 demonstrators/stampers and it was SO MUCH FUN! It was the biggest group I’d ever demonstrated in front of too, but everyone was absolutely fabulous and made it easy for me. I’ll have the technique on video for you this week – I think you’re going to really like it.
Ok – must run. I’m taking my hubby out for brunch to celebrate Father’s Day. I hope you have a great day too!
HAPPY STAMPING!
