These kits are so much fun to receive because you never know what you’re going to get for a project and I love being able to put something together that I haven’t had to pre-cut first. Everything is done and ready to be stamped and assembled – a treat for customers and demonstrators alike!
I thoroughly enjoyed making these cards! First, I ran the white layer through the Big Shot with one of the Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folders. Then I stamped the Sheet Music Background Stamp onto white fun foam with Basic Black Ink (and zapped it on low with my heat tool to make sure the ink dried). I used Versamark and a stamp from the retired “Gorgeous Grunge” set (still one of my very favourite stamp sets) to add a splatter over the foam, which I embossed in gold. A heart from the Sweet & Sassy Framelits was used to cut it out. I think the rest of the card is self explanatory. I also added a bit of lace ribbon and glitter because I don’t think a Valentine is a Valentine without those two things! LOL
My crafting supplies are almost 100% all Stampin’ Up! products but I do have some that aren’t, such as the stamp set I used on the back of the Valentine. I have no idea the name or the company for this set, I’ve had it for years. The XOXO is part of the stamp set that came with the Paper Pumpkin kit.
