Hi Friends. Today’s card is one of the make and takes that I had at this past weekend’s “New Catalogue Kick Off Party”. I personally LOVE this card – it’s so quick and easy! I also love Mary Engelbreit and this layout reminds me of her charming style. I cased this card from Sandi MacIver, another awesome Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, and just tweaked it. The Swirly Bird stamp set and coordinating framelits were part of a preorder that demonstrators were able to place this month and I’ll be honest – at first it really didn’t appeal to me. Well, let me just tell ya, once I started playing with it (as well as seeing all the other ideas on pinterest) I am hooked on these stamps! They are incredibly versatile and I know it’s going to be one of my favourite stamp sets.
Tomorrow the new annual catalogue goes live – so exciting! I’ve mailed out catalogues to those of you who have placed online orders with me; it should arrive this week. If you would like a catalogue please contact me – you will also be able to view that catalogue online tomorrow, via my website HERE.
So let’s get back to today’s card! For the video I used Sweet Sugarplum, Blushing Bride and Emerald Envy for the ink. The sentiment is from “Tin of Cards” stamp set.
The card below was one of the make and take projects from my “New Catalogue Kick Off” party this past weekend. We used Blushing Bride and Mint Macaroon (my favourite colour combo for this card) and sequins instead of rhinestones. The sentiment is from “You’ve Got This” stamp set.
