Hi Friends! I hope you had a nice weekend! I’d been meaning to post the last couple of days but we’ve been go, go, go. Friday night my “Serene Stampers” group met for our monthly gathering and team meeting. We had a BALL. Along with lots and lots laughs, we shared business tips, class ideas, played “Stampin’ Bingo” (and the winner received a stamp set!) and we had demonstrations, make and take projects, card swaps, recognition, raffle and food! What better way to start the weekend???? The beauty about Stampin’ Up! is definitely the friendships you make with your customers and group members! This month’s card swap theme was anything from the Sale-a-bration and/or Occasions Catalogue, so let me share some of the great cards and projects with you:

Kim Lanigan demonstrated how to make super cute paper bows and boxes using the fabulous Envelope Punch Board! I’ll make a video ASAP to show you how to do it too! And every Serene Stampers Gathering and Team Meeting has a make and take project because no event is complete without some stampin’ fun!!! Donna Dorion provided our make and take project which was super duper cute:

I’ll post my card swap, with a video of the technique I used, on tomorrow’s blog post. It features the exclusive Sale-a-bration “Petal Parade” stamp set that you can get for free. This stamp set was not one of my inital favourites, when I first saw it. Suffice to say, now that I’ve been playing with it, of course I just LOVE it! (Isn’t that always the way?).
