Sneak Peek: Flying Home Card Tutorial

Hi Friends! I’ve got another sneak peek for you today, featuring the “Flying Home” stamp set from the 2018 Occasions catalogue (Jan 3, 2018).

• Card
  stock & paper: Elegant Eggplant (105126), Whisper White
  (100730), Tutti-fruitti 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper (145606)
• Stampin’

• Miscellaneous:

• Elegant
  Eggplant: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2 then folded to create
  card base plus 3-1/4” x 5”
• Designer
  Series Paper: 4” x 5-1/4”
• Whisper
  White: 3-1/2” x 5” plus scrap for sentiment that is about 3” x
  ¾”

• Stamp
  bird houses with Memento black ink.
• Color
  in with your choice of Stampin’ Blends using a variety to make it
  colorful
• Die
  cut with the Lots of Labels die that is about 4” wide. You will be
  cutting off the wood-looking treehouse stands so they “bleed off”
  the page
• Using
  die that is about 4-3/4” wide, die cut Elegant Eggplant card stock
• Using
  SNAIL adhere birdhouse piece to Elegant Eggplant piece
• Using
  chalk marker, write on stitches all around on edge of Elegant
  Eggplant
• Add
  3 rhinestones to each side
• Mount
  Designer Series Paper to card base
• Mount
  birdhouse focal point to card base with Dimensionals
• Stamp
  sentiment on Whisper White scrap and trim long sides so it’s about
  3/8” wide. Using Paper Snips, cut banner ends on sentiment. Add
  one rhinestone to each side.
• Using
  SNAIL, adhere sentiment to DSP
